Three ways you could save time with OneLaw

What could you do with 28,800 seconds?
That’s the amount of time a lawyer will spend working on an average 8-hour workday.
It could be spent efficiently – but that depends largely on the quality of your practice management system.
Historically, practice management systems were all about compliance and risk reduction. These days that’s a given, and it’s all about productivity.
Your system will do one of two things: Slow you down, or speed you up.
Time savings is something we strive to create for our lawyers, and we’d like to show you how we achieve this in three key areas:
1. Intuitive systems
Possibly one of our biggest drawcards is in offering a system that is intuitive and easy to use.
The familiar Microsoft-style interface means everything you need is right where it should be.
We endeavour to keep things simple - with everything you do need and nothing you don’t – so you won’t be sidelined by unnecessary functionality.
Plus, we listen to our customers, so everything in the system is there for good reason: You told us you needed it.
Simple functionality. That’s what it’s all about.
2. Comprehensive client/matter management
We allow you to create significant time savings and reduce risk by having all the information you need, all in one place – including emails, documents, accounts and CRM.
We simplify the process by allowing you to easily manage these with the click of a button.
When you need to find anything, you can bring it up quickly and easily with a Google-like search function of your database and document content.
This helps you reduce paper use at your office, and you can also leverage off the existing IP contained in your firm’s entire document collection, independent of Author. It’s a no-brainer.
3. Automated document creation
The amount of time spent manually creating documents for clients is often grossly underestimated.
Possibly one of our biggest time savings can be achieved with our OneAuthor module. This allows you to bring up the appropriate template (personalised for your firm) for anything from a letter of engagement to a court document, settlement statement, agreement or deed.
With the structure already set up, you can easily complete the document with matter specific information, and even draw relevant data from OneLaw’s client/matter database to do this.
We have had clients comment that a settlement statement – which can take 15-20 minutes to create – can be finished in just three minutes using OneLaw’s automation. Complex equations like apportionments are calculated automatically – we do the maths for you. This is a serious time-saver!
These are just three of the ways you can save time with OneLaw.
You know what they say – time is money – and when it comes to practice management, this couldn’t be more accurate.
